Enhancing Safety and Expertise in Gas Delivery Systems: A Visit to Swagelok Austria - AA-Solutions GmbH

The Christian Doppler Laboratory for Mid-IR Spectroscopy and Semiconductor Optics recently had the privilege of visiting AA-Solutions GmbH, a subsidiary of the renowned company Swagelok and partaking in a tube-fitting safety course.

As providers of gas delivery systems, tubing, and comprehensive support for fluid and gas delivery, AA-Solutions GmbH plays a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of these systems across Austria and beyond.
The knowledge and skills acquired during the tube-fitting safety course at AA-Solutions GmbH will be of immense value to us in our own spectroscopy experiment, particularly in handling gas samples. The insights gained regarding material compatibility, pressure ratings, and leak prevention will enable us to ensure the safe and efficient delivery of gases, thereby enhancing the accuracy and reliability of our experimental results.
